Kavuru Sambasiva Rao stepped out of an engineering college
as a fresh graduate and set up Progressive Engineering
Company as a partnership firm in the year 1966. As the
Managing Partner of a young, budding firm; he recognized
the dire need for infrastructure development in India.
Fired by this vision, he expanded the business beyond
his native state of Andhra Pradesh by the year 1977. Understanding
the importance of further expansion and better business
processes, the company was transformed into a Private & a Limited
Liability entity in 1982. Progressive Constructions Limited
had arrived. He was the first Managing Director of the
newly incorporated firm and expanded the business canvas
from rail projects to housing, irrigation and realty. ....more
